NERDS RULE INC. ACADEMY, where collaboration with community leaders empowers the next generation through critical thinking and effective communication skills, striving for excellence.

Founded by Dr. Tristaca McCray, dedicated to developing global community action projects. In mid-August 2020, we launched the Fellowship program in partnership with community leaders in San Diego and worldwide.

NERDS RULE INC. ACADEMY Fellows Program targets individuals aged 18 and over for global impact and positive change in urban neighborhoods. Selected Fellows embark on transformative training and development, equipped with the skills and knowledge to address complex community issues.

Our Fellows receive comprehensive support, including professional coaching, mentoring, and guidance from public relations experts. This support helps them clarify their mission, boost self-confidence, and gain recognition for their projects, benefiting schools, families, and communities.

NERDS RULE INC Academy Fellows Cohort

Since its inception, NERDS RULE INC. ACADEMY has proudly graduated three cohorts of Fellows from around the world, including France, Burundi, Guinea, Nigeria, the United States, Malawi, Uganda, and Spain. These passionate leaders have not only transformed their communities but have also become part of a global network dedicated to positive change.

Each Fellow embarks on a powerful journey, guided by a curriculum developed by Dr. Tristaca McCray. This immersive experience equips them with essential skills in fundraising, grant writing, leadership, and community organizing—empowering them to turn their ideas into impactful Community Action Projects that address urgent needs in their neighborhoods.

From feeding programs in Uganda to mental health advocacy in Nigeria and youth education initiatives in France, our Fellows have created sustainable solutions that uplift their communities. They have successfully secured funding, developed strategic partnerships, and inspired change through their innovative work.

With three cohorts already making a difference across France, Burundi, Guinea, Nigeria, the United States, Malawi, Uganda, and Spain, we are excited to announce that Cohort 4 applications will open in April 2025!
