Tomorrow Needs You!
Tomorrow Needs You! Mission:
To decrease the global suicide rate by providing evidence-based mental health "blueprints" for youth, veterans, and families. Through our Tomorrow Needs You!, we provide safe, judgment-free spaces where individuals can navigate trauma, including bullying, domestic violence, and PTSD, transforming crises into resilience through education, community supervision, and early intervention.
Tomorrow Needs You! Vision:
To become the global gold standard for community-led suicide prevention, where no individual feels invisible. We envision a world where every school, family, church, and county is equipped with the training and emotional logic necessary to intervene, heal, and empower lives before they reach a breaking point.
At NERDS RULE INC., we don't just talk about mental health; we solve the problems that lead to crisis. Our program is a nationally recognized solution-solver, honored with a San Diego Proclamation and a White House Award for excellence in Suicide Prevention.
Since 2016, we have acted as the bridge between struggle and stability. Our approach is designed to address the modern "invisible" triggers: the climate of isolation, the scars of domestic violence, the weight of PTSD in veterans, and the devastating impact of bullying.
Why Funders and Partners Trust Us:
Award-Winning Impact: Recognized at the highest levels of government for saving lives.
Global Scalability: Our programs are designed to be implemented in schools, churches, and local counties worldwide.
Multi-Generational Focus: We provide tailored support for children, teens, young adults, and veterans.
Problem-Solving Framework: We don’t just offer "talk"; we offer Mental Health First Aid and intensive intervention skills that decrease suicide rates by catching signs early.
Our Partner Training & Certification Programs
We equip your community with the "Level Up" skills needed to save lives.
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)
The "CPR" for mental health. We offer Youth, Adult, and Teen MHFA certifications (8-hour training) that teach participants how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders.
QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer)
A 1–2 hour "Gatekeeper" training. Like the Heimlich maneuver for suicide prevention, QPR teaches anyone how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and refer someone to help.
ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training)
Our 2-day intensive "Life-Saving" workshop. This is for caregivers and leaders who want to learn how to prevent the immediate risk of suicide and create a safety plan.
safeTALK (Suicide Alertness for Everyone)
A half-day session for anyone age 15+ that teaches how to stop "missing" or "dismissing" signs of distress and connect people to life-saving resources.
Hope Squad (Peer-to-Peer Support)
We bring suicide prevention directly into schools. Students are trained to recognize peers in distress, reducing stigma and ensuring that youth have a safe place to turn within their own social circles.
CALM (Counseling on Access to Lethal Means)
A specialized training focused on reducing access to lethal means during a crisis. Crucial for healthcare staff and families of veterans or individuals in high-risk environments.
Psychological First Aid (PFA)
A trauma-informed response training designed to support individuals in the immediate aftermath of a crisis, disaster, or instance of domestic violence.
